It’s time for our Fifth Annual Wingin’ It for Wings event! Please join us as a sponsor for this unique event benefiting Wings OK. Come enjoy an evening of fantastic food, drinks, music, live auction and fun. The night will be filled with casual backyard barbeque flair, all while supporting one of Oklahoma’s cherished organizations.
Wingin’ It will be held Friday, November 12th at the Criterion.
Becoming a sponsor puts your name in front of nearly 400
attendees and supports Wings’ mission to enhance the lives of
adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
For 17 years, Wings has offered educational and social
opportunities for adults with special needs who have aged out
of the public-school system. In 2009, the Wings Day Program
was created to provide a place where its members could gather
together and participate in experiences that enhance their lives
through physical, social and vocational growth. Today, Wings
has grown from serving six to over 60 adults, with ages ranging
from 19 to 62 years, and has a waitlist of more than 20
individuals.
The proceeds from Wingin’ It go towards Wings’ mission and
contributes to the goal of adding more members and vocational
training opportunities. Wings is also continuing to support the
founding families’ long-term mission to create a residential
community where adults with special needs could live and grow
with each other the rest of their lives. We need your support to
make this happen!
