Bubbles & Bids 2021

A little over four years ago, I had the pleasure of being introduced to WINGS. Immediately, I was drawn to the organization’s mission and the impact they are having.

I’m a champion for WINGS!! Wings exists to enhance the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. They provide their members with a safe place to socialize, learn vital life-skills lessons, and to have a sense of inclusion and belonging.

We are currently working towards raising money for the upcoming 2021 Bubbles & Bids Gala fundraiser (which has been moved to a virtual format this year). I have a personal goal of raising $10,000 for the event which will go directly to support programs and services for Wings members as well as the community (side note: Wings partners with and serves more than 20 local nonprofits through volunteer work, donated goods and more – so their reach is far and wide in the Oklahoma City community!).

This is my my 3rd Bubbles & Bids Gala to chair and the 4th overall fundraiser I’ve been involved with for WINGS. As you might know - I don’t ask on behalf of organizations often – but this one is special. Not only because of the people they serve, but because the WINGS community is a beautiful, love filled place for the members to be involved and grow to their God given potential.
